Best of the Best Red Wine, 26th Platinum Awards. Washington Winery of the Year. Twenty-one Platinums in four years.

Bayernmoor Cellars is an award-winning, family-owned winery growing estate Pinot Noir on a six-acre vineyard in Washington’s Puget Sound AVA — certified Sustainable WA and Salmon-Safe, and farmed using regenerative practices. Kim and Larry Harris planted the vines near Stanwood in 2011. The winery welcomes visitors at its Woodinville tasting room and at the Stanwood estate on select weekends.

Bayernmoor is the only winery pouring in Woodinville with its own estate vineyard in the Puget Sound AVA — the same appellation Woodinville itself sits in.

Recognition

Best of the Best Red Wine — 26th Platinum Awards, February 2026
Our 2023 Estate Pinot Noir Clone 777 received a unanimous Double Platinum vote and was named the overall Best of the Best Red Wine of the three-day judging of Pacific Northwest gold-medal wines. It was the first time in the history of the Platinum Awards that the top red went to a Pinot Noir.

2024 Washington Winery of the Year — Great Northwest Wine, March 2024
Selected on the strength of nine awards at the 24th annual Platinum Awards, the most of any winery in the judging.

Winery of the Year — 2023 Seattle Wine Awards
Named one of the “Fabulous Four” wineries of the year, the Seattle Wine Awards’ top winery honor.

Twenty-one Platinum Awards in four years, including twelve for the Pinot Noir program since 2022. Across the two most recent judgings, only three Washington wineries earned more Platinums than Bayernmoor — and each of them produces considerably more wine.
